Italian Muslims have swiftly acted to stop the sale in local stores of toilet seat covers that feature verses of the Noble Qur’an in an unprecedented blasphemous act, reporting the matter to appropriate authorities and politicians, who proved forthcoming.
The Lazio-based Orizzonte Company unveiled this month a new collection of bathroom products including the offensive toilet cover seats. They feature verses from the Noble Qur’an printed on the double face of the cover seats and intersected by colourful flowers and Latin words.

Following Muslim complaints, police raided the four braches of the company in the town of Latina, 60km south of Rome, and seized 2,000 such pieces on sale.
Interior minister Giuliano Amato met Friday with Italian Muslim leaders at the main Rome Mosque to reassure them that Italy would not tolerate such outrageous acts.
“This is an insult to the Muslim faith,” The imam of the Lazio town of Latina’s mosque, Sheikh Yusuf, told Amato.
Italy has a Muslim population of some 1.2 million, including 20,000 reverts, according to unofficial estimates.
Samir Al-Khalidi, the head of the Islamic Centre (Al-Huda) in Rome said he smelled a rat in the Italian company’s act.
“Inscribing the toilet seat covers with Ayat Al-Kursi (The Verse of the Throne) and putting the noble verse in the nastiest place was not unintentional,” he said.
Al-Khalidi said he does not buy the company’s excuses that it did not know what the Arabic words written on the cover seats really meant.
“This is not about art and beauty as the company claims; this is a crime,” he said.

To make people aware of respecting Islam is very important. Muslims in general and muslim newspapers, tv channels, radios, magazines, organisations and so on should try to convey the importance and truthfulness of Islamic teachings, beliefs, different laws related to different occasions and how these laws are beneficial and correct (we can give them comparison with their other laws versus Islamic laws and beliefs etc) and there is no doubt Islam is the Guidance of God Almighty Allah to all humans. If Islam is not the guidance of God, then I ask, what is the guidace of God for mankind? Think about any other ism, ideology and compare the rules and beliefs of them with Islam, you will find out that how accurately Islam is. In the lighter sense we can say only as an example just to understand basic, it’s like a clock that works 24 hours giving you accurate time which you follow. Now think and realise that this time which the clock is showing you is from God Almighty Allah. No other person or the deities which are worshipped by people as god(s) can be God because you can say that they were also born one day on this earth and there must be some birth time for them and that binds them by the laws of time. The laws of time and other natural laws we see are all set in motion by God Almighty Allah. So these deities who are worshipped as god or son of god etc are all bound by Allah’s laws who is the ONLY GOD, SUPREME in nature, in power, capabilities etc. There is no comparison with Him to anyone. If you are convinced about this basic truth, then you will not ridicule Islam, Qur’an, Prophet Mohammad. You will not then give support to the foolish people who make fun of Islam and think that they are wise and intelligent.
You will definitely categorise them with foolish persons who are going to reap the bad effects of their dangerous follies that they are doing.
Now we follow this clock all the time and make our appointments based on the time it shows. So whose laws we are following. It’s not the clock who made the time, day and night etc. You might be superior to the clock because you might have purchased or created it, put one battery in it and then it got it’s life and started showing you the time. Therefore if you rewind your intellect, you will see that it’s God who framed the laws in the nature and we are all bound by it. The faulty clock you will not use.
There fore Allah’s laws and religion -Al Islam, His Final Book-Al Qur’an are all from Himself for our guidance. He made our bodies and give us our life and established us on this earth. Now if we try to tell that O God who made us, gives us food, you are a fool, this Islam is nonsense, horrible, unjust, etc. then you are making fun of yourself and your intellect given by God to you. You have to side, support the Master, your creator, your nourisher, AlMighty Allah and not His opponents.
Now is the time to realise that Islam is the Truth from Allah -and it is a must for all to follow if they want Guidance of God and finally Salvation from Hell Fire and there is no other way chosen by God. Just as God has given you a body and a soul, the life span, which none can change nor anyone could have made you other than Allah, you are not bound by to follow others who are opposing Allah and His Laws. You will have to say “yes” to Allah and His laws, Guidance-Al Islam only.
Now welcome to Islam. Say : La Ilaha IL Allah, Muhammad Rasool Allah. By declaring this truth, the first creed of Islam, you enter into Islam. The Divine light is shown to you through this “Kalima” or Creed of Islam. You move away from darkness to light of God. It means, there is no god other than Allah (Allah alone is to be worshipped by all means shown by Him) and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah. Note that after Muhammad (peace be upon him) there is no other Prophets or Messengers from God. There will be liars who will declare themselves as prophets after him which is warned in the Islamic Hadith books. Beware of misguidance after taking up the path of Almighty Allah that is Islam. May Allah save us all from darkness of the soul and misguidance from satan, the devil and his followers among genies and mankind. amen.
The contents of the Holy Qu’ran are the genuine words of Almighty Allah and belong to Him.
The Almighty will, I have no doubt, exact the necessary pinishment on the perpetrators of this heinous crime. We as humans can only put a stop to this abominable act and voice our utter disgust .
Again an act of intimidation again Muslim. When we will react the world will say ” Aah these terrorists” .
Shame . May Allah punish them and surely theirs place are in the Hell and Fire.
